Student Ministries

The Student Ministries at Southside consist of the Middle School Ministry, High School Ministry, College Ministry, and Life Hurts, God Heals.

Middle School Ministry

Wednesday Nights 6:30pm
 
A relevant service that is designed specifically for middle school students. Come and check out this exciting service that includes a live band, crazy games, and a lesson that will tackle the tough issues that middle school students are facing. 

Sunday Night Life Groups 5:30pm

These Life Groups meet in homes every week. These groups create an environment that is like none other in the middle school ministry. Students are getting together to study God' s Word as well as having a great time hanging out, eating and connecting with other students that have a desire to serve God.

Sunday Morning Sunday School 9:00am & 10:30am

We offer Sunday School classes during our two Sunday Morning Adult Worship Services. These classes are designed for students to attend the adult worship service one hour and then to attend the Sunday School Class the other hour. Each class allows students to connect with a leader and a small group of students as well as being encouraged to go to the next level in their walk with Christ. 

High School Ministry

Wednesday Nights 6:30pm

Renovate is the open door to the High School Ministry at Southside.  It is a program designed to challenge students to consider a relationship with Jesus Christ and engage those who have already become followers of Christ to deepen their walk with Him.  Renovate is a student friendly environment where you will have the opportunity to hang out with friends and meet new people, get plugged into what’s going on in the Student Ministry, and experience teaching from God’s Word that is relevant to High School students.  Renovate meets every Wednesday on campus in the Student Center at 6:30.

Sunday Night Life Groups 5:30pm

High School Life Groups are all about three things – Growth, Accountability, and Prayer.  You can call it step two in the High School ministry.  These groups meet in various homes throughout Warner Robins and usually have around eight people in a group. The purpose of these groups is to grow deeper in their faith, build accountable relationships, and literally do life together.  There is always time for fun and fellowship built in but studying God’s word and actively applying it to our lives is the priority. 

Sunday Morning Sunday School 10:30am

Sunday Mornings at Southside offer a variety of opportunities for High School Students.  There are two main services to choose from in the main auditorium.  Our goal is for students to work a service and worship a service.  Many of our students participate in serving in the children’s ministries, greeters ministry, and nursing home ministry.  We also offer a co-ed class for High School students that meets in modular 4 at 10:30.

Life Hurts, God Heals

Thursday Nights 7:00pm

Celebrate Recovery Ministry has a small group called “Life Hurts, God Heals (LHGH)” created specifically for teenagers who have experienced the pain or addiction of drinking, cutting, pornography, eating disorders, or troubled family dynamics. If you are familiar with the 12-step program called Celebrate Recovery, then you may understand how “Life Hurts God Heals” works. LHGH is an 8-step small group biblical study providing lifelong tools to help students heal from their hurts (written by John Baker, Doug Fields, and Meghan Hutchinson).

Any student is welcome!
